Our client is a family-owned and operated demolition and excavation contracting company serving customers throughout New Jersey. Going into 2022, our client wanted to capitalize on targeting a specific set of their services.
The Challenge
Due to the pandemic, 2021 was a stand-out year for many in the trades and contracting industries. This was likely due to the fact people were stuck in their homes and had extra disposable income to spend on improvement projects for their homes. With that in mind, as we entered 2022, our client wanted to continue to see a positive trend in increased quotes and leads despite overall search volume being down comparatively to 2021. To combat this, our client wanted to increase their lead flow in regard to three specific areas of their business:

Once we worked together to identify the three areas we wanted to target for the year, we got to work on generating high-quality content geared toward the intended focus areas. Additionally, we focused our backlinking efforts on the targeted areas.
Paired with consistent content creation and acquiring new backlinks from relevant websites, we met with our client on a weekly basis to check in about how the project was progressing. We discussed what was working well and what was not working so well in order to adapt our strategy as needed.
The Results
Due to consistency and active communication, our client was able to see significant results in the three target areas.
- Quotes for pool removals and demolition services are up 70% from 2021 to 2022.
- From 2021 to 2022, there was a 100% increase in environmental projects. Additionally, our client is trending for another increase this year (2023).
- Overall, our client has seen a steady increase in both clicks and impressions since the beginning of our engagement in 2020.
